In the midst of 100 years celebration of Calgary Stampede, Calgarians also experienced the rich culture of Turkey with annual Calgary Turkish Festival which took place at Eau-Claire Festival Plaza in downtown Calgary. |

Visitors will be able to browse and buy Turkish products, souvenirs and handicrafts, participate in activities for children, view many authentic demonstrations and performances, sample Turkish cuisine, and do much, much more at the Festival. |

We are quite excited that there will be a major meeting – Canadians and Turks. We, as Turkish people in Vancouver, have participated in various festivals organized by others for years. However, it will be such a pleasure that the communities get together in a festival we completely own. We would love to see you at the Festival as a visitor or even volunteer!
