Bringing together representatives from the Turkish mining sector who were in Toronto to attend the PDAC Miners Congress and Fair, the reception co-organized by the Turkish Consulate in Toronto and The Canadian Turkish Business Council brought together a large number of Turkish and Canadian experts from the mining sector. The reception, which was held at the downtown offices of the Turkish Canadian Chamber of Commerce saw the attendance of Honorable Ali Riza Guney, the Turkish Consul-General, the Turkish Economic Attache, Lucie Verreault the President of Turkish Gold Miners Association, Umid Aktur, as well as numerous representatives from the mining sector both in Turkey and in Canada along with bureaucrats from both countries.
