Chris McDonald, President of Toronto Hot Docs festival, one of the largest documentary festivals in the world, gave a luncheon talk at IDI GTA offices. Hot Docs owns probably the only movie theatre that shows nothing other than documentaries. After giving basic information about the history of the Hot Docs festival, Chris McDonald talked about the unspoken role of documentary festivals in world socio-politics.
