IDI Calgary hosted its first Public Heroes Awards celebrating individuals serving in the Calgary Police, Fire or Emergency Medical services. The evening, themed “Cultural Competence”,v recognized Paramedic Raj Dattani, Constable Kelly Mergen and Firefighter Ken Wilson for initiating and fostering programs focused on working with the city’s ethnically diverse environment.
