Each year, AHF hosts annual friendship receptions for the Members of Legislative Assemblies, their staff and for Turkic communities at the Legislative Assemblies of Alberta, Ontario and Saskatchewan. AHF aims to establish a landmark event for Turkic Canadians resembling the Turkic Canadian solidarity. The Reception also serves as a venue to share the Turkic Heritage in Canada and to celebrate Turkic societies’ contributions to the Canadian multicultural public sphere. During the reception attendees will have an opportunity to interact and dialogue with members of Turkic communities living in Canada. They will experience some elements of Turkic cultures such as art, food, music and traditional clothing.
