IDI GTA in partnership with the town of Ajax and Indo-Canadian Cultural Association of Durham (ICCAD) held an intercultural friendship Iftar Dinner at Ajax Community Centre.
The guests of honour for the night were Hon. Chris Alexander, Minister of Citizenship and Immigration; and Steve Parish, Mayor of Town of Ajax. Also among the guests were, Roger Anderson, Chair of Region of Durham; John Henry, Mayor of the City of Oshawa; Hon. Tracy MacCharles, Minister of Consumer Services (Ontario).
