ACTIVITIES
AHF facilitates activities that aim at better understanding of cultures regardless of differences. AHF recognizes differences as diversity which yields a long lived prosperity within a nation. As an umbrella organization AHF sees its affiliate organizations as entities through which community effectiveness is built to accomplish the goals that serve the society as a whole.
AHF sees the issues through a holistic perspective and brings people from all walks of life through the stage through activities conducted by its affiliate organizations. In doing so AHF becomes capable of presenting alternative ways of handling issues, suggested through these diverse perspectives and understanding.
Major activities organized by AHF and its member organizations can be summarized under the following categories:

- Educational Initiatives
- Relief Efforts
- Community based projects
With respect to this, Intercultural Dialogue Institute aims to promote enduring interfaith and intercultural corporation, tolerance and dialogue by sharing the differences and similarities in cultures in an effort to achieve global peace in the foreseeable future. The Institute aims to eliminate or reduce false stereotypes, prejudices and unjustified fears through direct human communication. By this mission IDI aims to contribute to improvement of diversity, pluralism and multiculturalism throughout Canada.

- Intercultural Study Trips (Turkey)
