During the Ramadan month of 2015, the branch of Intercultural Dialogue Institute in Kitchener-Waterloo had once again organized Iftar dinners, but this time at the family houses to various people from Waterloo region including MPs, MPPs, Mayors, academicians and community leaders. In the Home Iftar dinner programs, which all the representatives in the area had cared for, hospitable Muslim families and Canadian politicians have had a night carried on with warm conversations. MP Peter Braid, had stated that the home Iftar dinners were simply amazing. Kitchener area representative Harold Albrecht and his partner Darlene had sent a big thanks to the hospitable family of Topkaya for an unforgettable spiritual night that they have spent. Family of özsever, from Gaziantep, giving an Iftar dinner with our Eastern Traditional foods, and the participant Catherine Fife, a representative, who had attended at night, along with her partner and daughter, had stated that she has been invited and involved in an Iftar dinner for the first time in her life.
